Young Adults: Ages 19-25

Our family system and experiential approach support young adults (ages 19-25) in building independence while maintaining strong family connections. Through a collaborative approach, our individual coach works with the young adult to navigate this stage of independence, responsibility, and self-discovery, while our parent coach helps families foster healthy communication and set appropriate boundaries. Together, we guide families through this transition, ensuring both greater responsibility and autonomy.

What We Do

All services are individualized for every young adult, but can include:

  • Individual Coaching for the young adult

  • Family Sessions if applicable

  • Support Outside of Scheduled Sessions (phone, text, video, etc)

  • Integrating sports or physical activity into sessions

  • Discovering new hobbies or volunteer opportunities

When Wonder Makes Sense

  • When traditional talk therapy isn’t the right fit, has stagnated, there is lack of engagement, or needs real world application

  • When family engagement would be helpful to the process

  • When needing more intensive services

  • After or during intensive outpatient programming (IOP)

  • Transitioning home from out of home placements (wilderness, therapeutic boarding schools, residential treatment centers, or hospitalizations)

“I always felt heard and connected with the therapists. There were often thorough discussions as well as some fun chats about my daily life and activities. I really appreciated the attention and flexibility. ”
