FAQs

  • We are out of network for all insurance providers. We are happy to provide a superbill, but your clinical team must be licensed in the state where services are rendered. Please speak to the Admissions team for further information.

  • Cost ranges due to each program being individualized to our client’s clinical needs. Reach out to explore services specific to your needs.

  • Wonder can work quickly! The process from your initial call to your first session typically takes 7–10 days. We intentionally take the time to set up introduction calls with your family, speak to past clinicians to further assess your clinical needs, and come up with a treatment plan that best fits those needs. We also welcome the opportunity to plan ahead, even a month or more in advance, to ensure a smooth and well-supported transition.

  • Wonder carefully considers clinical needs, location, preferences, interests, and availability to find the best potential fit. Reach out to the admissions team to learn more about how we support you through this process.

  • Our services operate on a month-to-month basis, with families typically engaging with us for an average of 6-9 months. Your clinical team will consistently assess needs and progress to adjust support as needed.

  • Our goal is to slowly taper your Wonder services over time. We work alongside other community services and professionals to evaluate appropriate step-down options.

  • Yes! We welcome collaboration with outside professionals and highly value the opportunity to work as a team, both internally and externally. At Wonder, we believe that a cohesive, multidisciplinary approach leads to the best outcomes, and we appreciate the chance to coordinate care in a way that fully supports our clients and their families.

  • While we are not a primary substance use program, we recognize that substance use is a common challenge for many individuals and families. Our services could be well-suited for clients transitioning out of a substance recovery program who need support in maintaining sobriety, addressing mental health concerns, strengthening family relationships, and navigating daily life. Wonder helps bridge the gap between sponsors and full family support, fostering stronger connections and creating a more unified, supportive environment for healing.

  • Our clinical team utilizes a diverse range of therapeutic modalities, taking a relational, experiential, and family systems approach. We integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Expressive Arts, Mindfulness, and other modalities. Our approach is tailored to each client, adapting creatively to ensure they remain authentically engaged in their growth and healing process.

  • Family sessions typically happen in our client’s home with both the parent coach and the individual coach. Our goals are twofold: we work together to create goals for the family as a whole and we work to process emotions in a safe environment and improve communication.
